Script Take #3

Finally decided to bite the bullet and turn my mess of notes into a new script! New set of Boards to come! All I need to do is scan them in........ (Second set of boards will never see the light of day, as they were just scribbles)

Act 1:

Setting: blizzard snow covered twisted mountain trail
Camera pushes in on a mountain ravine covered in snow on a shadow of a character in the snow
The Camera pushes in closer to reveal a warrior marooned in the snow under a tree pulling his clothing tighter around himself, all the while shivering from the cold
The warrior begins to look to his left and right.
Camera follows his view and stops to his right where a bear is also shivering in the cold
The Warrior stares at the bear in an over the shoulder shot and pushes in
The Camera cuts to a LS of the Warrior and bear to show their distance and begins to push out.

Act 2:
Close shot on the Warrior’s head as he leans back and begins to day dream
Cut away to an image of the Warrior wearing the bear’s fur as a pelt
The Bear looks up to see the Warrior day dreaming and stands up on his hind legs (cuts from a CS to a LS)
The Bear hunkers over and begins to drool.  (The camera pushes in from a LS to a MS)
The Bear in turn begins to day dream.
Camera cuts away to a LS of an image of himself wearing the Warrior’s skin as a pelt with a pile of bones next to him
Warrior snaps out of the day dream (MS) And cuts away to the Bear hunkered over drooling
Camera cuts back to the Warrior’s horrified expression (CS)
The warrior immediately begins to fumble through his belongings searching for something (MS)
Warrior pulls out his Swiss army knife (XCS on his hand with light coming from his army knife)
Camera cut back to show Warrior fanning out each tool to make it clear to the bear of his intentions (MS)
Switches to an over the shoulder shot of the bear, who is still drooling
Switches to MS of the bear who perks up and begins pointing at his paw
The Bears whips out his paw in the same fashion that the Warrior did (XCS on the Bear paw with light shining from it)
Camera cuts to a MS of the Bear who is now fanning out each claw just as the warrior did with his knife
The Camera cuts back to a MS of the Warrior is now more angry than surprised
The Camera switches to a XLS of both the bear and Warrior staring each other down.
All goes quiet, the storm comes to a halt and the two just sit staring at each other
The Camera cuts to a XCS on the Warriors eyes as they begin to squint, then cuts to the Bear’s mouth which is now drooling
The Warrior snaps first leaps from his place of shivering from beneath the tree. Camera Pushes out at the start of the jump
Camera Cuts to an over the shoulder view from the warrior as he leaps toward the bear.
Bear begins to raise his paw as if about to swipe.
The Blizzard starts up again more intense than before
Camera cuts to a LS as the Warrior Tackles the Bear sending the Bear Backwards
Camera cuts to a XLS to reveal that the two were on a steep hill as the both the Warrior and Bear begin to roll down the side in a tackle, snowballing all the way down
Camera cuts to a worm’s eye view of the Snowball coming at the camera as it Pushes out
Camera cuts to a camera angle as if riding the snowball, showing that a huge tree is in their path.  Camera pushes in
Switches to a LS as the smash into the tree sending the Warrior out from the background of the shot, into the foreground of the shot, and the Bear from the background to further

Act 3:
Camera switches to a LS of the two just sitting where they landed, staring at one another (music begins) The two nod as if in agreement
The Camera Cuts to a new scene of the Warrior and bear curled up together. The two nod in agreement once more and begin to sleep ( Camera pushes out)
The Camera begins to push out and reverse to where it was originally at the beginning.
Both made a new friend and were Warmer for it.
